1. Introduction
Welcome to Phonesoncredit.co.ke. By accessing our website, applying for device financing, or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must be a resident of Kenya, at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid Kenyan National Identification Card. You must also have an active M-PESA account registered in your name.
3. Financing Application and Approval
Approval for a smartphone on credit is subject to verification of your identification, income, and M-PESA statement. Phonesoncredit reserves the right to approve, decline, or adjust the requested deposit based on our internal credit assessment criteria.
4. Payments and Defaults
- You agree to make your daily or weekly installment payments on time.
- The device remains the property of Phonesoncredit until the full outstanding balance is cleared.
- Failure to make scheduled payments will result in the device being locked remotely via our MDM (Mobile Device Management) software.
- Persistent default may lead to device repossession and reporting to Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB).
5. Warranty and Maintenance
All devices come with a standard manufacturer's warranty covering factory defects. Accidental damage, screen breakage, or water damage are not covered under warranty. The customer is fully responsible for the repair costs of any human-induced damage during the payment period.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of the agreement will be resolved through arbitration in Nairobi.
